Women’s events

From time to time, the ladies of the church enjoy an evening just for themselves! The evening usually includes a choice of craft activities, a chance to be pampered and share a meal. We have also had guest speakers, including The Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary and Dorothy from Parkway Baptist Church in Mississippi.

Japanese evening

On Easter Saturday in 2018 the ladies of the church plus guests enjoyed a Japan themed evening. We also had the opportunity to hear from Lidya Awtrey, our guest speaker and mission link, about the work she and her family are doing in Bulgaria. Berley, our resident Japanese cuisine chef, cooked up a wonderful array of Japanese food for the occasion and many of us wore Kimonos and other Japanese clothing.

Ladies Afternoon during the Church Weekend Away at Bulstrode

The ladies met for a time of fellowship and encouragement during the Saturday afternoon of our church weekend away at Bulstrode in July 2016. We prayed for each other reminding each other of how we are all God's creations as we enjoyed spending time in the countryside together.
