The church on Hanworth Road
At HEC you will find a warm welcome and a commitment to encourage one another and to show the love of Jesus in our community.
Our Sunday morning services are structured yet informal with a congregation of friends from many countries around the world.
There are groups for children and young people during the service.
Our Sunday evening services are more personal and interactive, and there is a varied programme of praise followed by a bring-and-share tea, services of thoughts and hymns, DVD evenings and other events. For information on when the Sunday evening services occur please see the 'Regular activities' page.
We are strongly committed to prayer, worship, Bible teaching, evangelism, discipling and friendship.
In addition to our services, there are prayer meetings every Friday evening at 8:30pm, on Sundays at 10:30am, and on the last Tuesday of the month at 8:00pm. There is also a monthly silent prayer vigil on the second Saturday of the month (start time varies).
Our Fellowship Group meetings during the week provide an opportunity for closer friendship, Bible study, worship and prayer.
