Message from our Pastor

Do you believe that our church should grow?

Do you believe that the folk who live, shop and work in our area should hear about Jesus?

Do you believe that your neighbours and family need eternal life?

How will we successfully reach them with the Gospel?

We know that most people who come to church for the first time are brought by a friend.                       Will you be that friend?!

If we are to succeed in communicating the Gospel, we need to use the methods that Jesus used!

What were these?

 Jesus took a genuine interest in people and demonstrated God’s love.

Jesus took time to talk with individuals and spoke God’s word to them.

Jesus used hospitality to share the Kingdom message.

Jesus spoke the things that He heard from the Father.

Jesus used the gifts of the Holy Spirit to help people.

Jesus lived what He preached!

Jesus wept!

Jesus prayed!

Jesus gave His life for them – and us!

Between now and Christmas, we will run a Christian Basics series on Sunday mornings.                         The messages will be suitable for everyone, including those who are not yet following Jesus.

We are also considering how to use our Sunday evening services more effectively,                           perhaps running an ALPHA or Christianity Explored course.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and ‘gossip’ the Gospel”; so, let’s go and ‘gossip’ about Him               and bring into HEC those whom we are befriending in His Name.

Then, our church will grow, through people coming to know and follow Jesus!
