Happy 125th Anniversary HEC

This year we celebrated 125 years of God's faithfulness to us in Hounslow.

On Saturday we held an Open Day, to which past and present members and everyone living in the neighbourhood was invited.

We had many visitors - from as far away as Canada, Scotland and Devon.

In the church, flower arrangements represented the 'I am' sayings of Jesus.

In the lounge, there was a pictorial history of the church, and information about our current activities.

Home-made cakes and refreshments were served in the hall throughout the day.

The children were kept busy with a bouncy castle, face painting, football practice and many other games and activities.

A buffet tea was enjoyed by 120 people and this was followed by a service of celebration led by Pastor Andrew Heron. Richard Underwood, from FIEC was the speaker that evening and also at the Sunday morning service.
